Hello to all, or at least the two or three people who are reading these updates!
Today was a mellow day as we joined our Bulgarian hosts in visiting a tourist town about 2 hours from Sofia. They were very interested to show us this place in the hope that it would educate us and give us a heart for the country and the people.
The town was founded in the 1200's, but there have been people living there up to the present day. There were several houses preserved from the late 1800's to the early 1900's, and much of the recent history of the town is tied to the war for independence between the Bulgarians and the Ottoman Turks around 1913.
We enjoyed a great day as a team and are continuing to build a solid relationship with the Bulgarian Christians. Thank you for your continued prayers!
