Hi to all!
Sorry that none of the comments from previous blogs have been published! I have seen them on my email and appreciate them so much! I only have a few minutes on the computer each day and I can't always figure out the technical issues before its time to move on to another activity.
The pictures above are from our visit to an orphanage yesterday. In the bottom photo Hannah and Paige are doing a presentation to the kids, helping to present the gospel message using American holidays to communicate Biblical truths. Their part was to use Valentines Day to talk about the love of God. They did a great job!
In the top photo the kids are singing a song led by Brandon McCaughey (Youth Pastor at Temecula Creek). Some of the kids were quite enthusiastic, while others were a little overwhelmed. I felt like we were an encouragement to the kids and the leaders, and they especially seemed to enjoy the special treat of bananas... they are expensive and not something they get very often.
Later in the day we heard a presentation from our hosts, the Bulgarian Christian Baptist Church about their vision for Church planting in Bulgaria. Even though I've heard similar information before, it was once again overwhelming to hear how much of the world is yet to be reached with the Gospel. Many Bulgarian cities the size of Temecula are without any churches at all! Amazing and convicting.
Thanks again for all your prayers and concern! the team is well and we are learning more each day about future partnerships in Bulgarian.
