Thankful

I just saw this picture of our Easter Choir on my daughters Facebook as I was leaving her "Happy Birthday" wishes... It brought back such good memories that I wanted to share a few brief thoughts here.

First, the photo reminded me how much I enjoyed the celebration we had together, and how thankful I am for the reality of the ressurection.

Second, I am so thankful to Jeff and Diane Post and how faithful and gifted they both are... through their leadership of the choir they used their gifts to be a blessing to the rest of us and to proclaim the greatness of God to our community.

Third, I was so thrilled to note that many of the choir members were teenagers (like my beautiful daughter!). It is a tremendous blessing to have so many young people in our fellowship and it reminds me to be conscious of our responsibility towards them. I am thankful that we have Andy on staff and that he and Tyler take their ministry very seriously.

What a wonderful thing it is to gather with all of you each Sunday to celebrate the Lord together, enjoy fellowship with one another, and grow in our knowledge and application of God's word.
