What difference does it make?

I am thinking about the question in the title of this blog in light of two amazing stories I heard recently. To be more specific the question I am asking is, what difference does it make when we share with others about Jesus Christ?

Two stories: the first you can read about and watch on Nathanael King's blog,nathanaelk.blogspot.com/

Its an amazing, challenging, touching, and enlightening story from an unlikely source.

Second is the story of Masab Yousef (now Joseph), son of Hamas leader Hassan Yousef and a former member of Hamas Youth. You can read and hear his story here:

And here:

A major part of Joseph's story is the "chance" encounter he had with a young Christian from the UK, who met him on the streets of Jerusalem and invited him to a Bible study.

What difference does it make when we talk with others about Jesus Christ? A big difference, even an eternal difference.

I am not highlighting these two individuals because they are somehow more "special" than the average person... I just wanted to help us reflect on the idea that the Gospel message and the Word of God can have a dramatic impact in people's lives, no matter how unlikely it might appear from our perspective.
